A Great Gift For Weight Loss HelpA Great Gift For Weight Loss Help for yourself or someone on your list, you should take a look at the Fitbit Charge 2. It has much to offer at a very reasonable price.

I purchased one for myself this month and love it. The Fitbit Charge 2 is a heart rate and fitness tracker and it does everything it promises. I spend a lot of time on the computer so one of the features I like is that it will remind me to get up and move about for a few minutes each hour.

I got to test the heart rate monitor a couple of weeks ago when visiting Wisconsin and shoveling snow. It is surprising how fast your heart rate increases and a good thing to know when doing something like snow removal.

It has auto sleep tracking which is something I never though much about, but I now see how often my sleep is interruptedĀ  and how many hours of sleep that I actually get.

The Fitbit Charge 2 offers guided breathing sessions, and it has auto exercise recognition called “Smart Track” which knows when you are walking up a flight of stairs, when your running etc.

Ya they don’t have one that can record your activity while you are swimming but give them a couple more years and it might just happen. As for me, I am into the 10,000 steps per day and this works just fine for that. I really do like the one I wear and actually miss it when I take it off once every five days to charge the battery.

  3. I’ve been told that these devices don’t work when we swim. So, given the fact that I swim 45 minutes to an hour a day and only bike for 15 minutes (except on weekends), I will just have to rely on the old minutes X average caloric expenditure rules.
